This slab-built dish, created with an underglaze transfer on a white stoneware clay produced here in Kentucky, is 3.5 inches by 7 inches. The red stars pattern brings to mind, for me, a quilt. The dish would be suitable to hold some rings, a few pieces of candy, or perhaps as a spoon rest.
